Beijing/Harare , 16th March 2026 — China has once again highlighted the deep historical ties that connect it with Africa, placing particular emphasis on its long-standing relationship with Zimbabwe. In a message directed to Zimbabwe’s liberation war veterans, Chinese leadership reflected on the shared history between the two sides, recalling how many Zimbabwean fighters received training and support from China during the country’s struggle for independence.
